Orders open as Gundam Wing's Heero Yuy joins BANDAI's S.H.Figuarts line

Pre-orders are set to open for a new, highly-articulated action figure of Heero Yuy, the protagonist of the classic anime series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.

This new figure, which will be part of the S.H.Figuarts line, depicts the stoic Gundam pilot in one of his most well-known outfits from the series.

S.H.Figuarts is a premier line of collector-focused action figures, celebrated for its lifelike sculpting and an extensive range of motion that allows for the recreation of numerous dynamic poses.

The figure was first revealed yesterday as part of a teaser video.

The design of the “S.H.Figuarts Heero Yuy” is based on his appearance in the second episode of the anime, where he wears a simple tank top and shorts.

The figure comes with a variety of optional parts and accessories that allow fans to recreate specific, memorable scenes from the show.

These include items closely associated with the character, such as a handgun and a detonation switch.

The set also comes with interchangeable arm and leg parts that feature the blue bandages applied by the character Relena Darlian after she finds him injured.

Four different interchangeable expression parts are also included to capture his various moods.

This release is timed to launch alongside a separate, new figure of his mobile suit, the “METAL ROBOT Spirits Wing Gundam.”

The two products are designed to be complementary, allowing collectors to display the pilot and his Gundam together.

“S.H.Figuarts Heero Yuy” will be priced at 9,900 yen (approx. $67.43 USD / £49.91 GBP) and pre-orders for the figure are scheduled to open on Premium Bandai from Friday, the 25th of July, at 4:00 PM Japan Standard Time.

The figure is currently scheduled to be shipped to customers in February 2026.
