Orders are set to open for a new Gundam GQuuuuuuX themed fragrance collection

Character fragrance specialty brand “primaniacs” has announced a new collection of scents based on the world of the popular anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
Primaniacs is a brand that aims to express a character’s “presence” through fragrance, creating scents designed to evoke the feeling that the character is right there with you.

The brand has also recently revealed another Gundam-themed fragrance range, which will be based on Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.

This new GQuuuuuuX collection translates the personalities and beliefs of five of the series’ main characters into complex perfumes.
Each fragrance comes with a character card that explains the scent’s profile.
The lineup of fragrances includes the following five characters:
- Amate Yuzuriha (Machu):

A bright “Fruity Floral Note” with top notes of orange flower and pear, a middle of sunflower and rose, and a base of musk and amber.

- Nyan:

A powerful yet delicate “Fruity Floral Note,” opening with blackcurrant and lychee, moving to a heart of mimosa and iris, and finishing with musk and raspberry.

- Shuji Ito:

A mysterious “Herbal Musky Note” with a cool top of spearmint and peppermint, a middle of lily and clary sage, and a clean base of white cedar and musk.

- Challia Bull:

An elegant “Woody Fougère Note” for the mature character, starting with lemon and ginger, moving to a heart of hinoki cypress and rum, and finishing with a deep sandalwood.

- Xavier Olivette:

A refreshing “Green Citrus Note” representing the straightforward young man, with a bright top of bergamot and lime, a middle of green tea, and a warm base of amber and tonka beans.

Each of the 30ml fragrances in the collection is priced at ¥7,920 (approx. $54 USD/£40 GBP).
The new collection will have an advance sale at a special pop-up “Gundam Series Fragrance Shop” located at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza.

The pop-up and the start of online pre-orders will both begin next month, on Thursday, the 18th of September.
A general in-store release at the primaniacs Ginza flagship store and other retailers is scheduled for Friday, the 14th of November.
