Nintendo reveals new figure of Mario Wonder’s Talking Flower
A new figure of the “Talking Flower” character from the hit game Super Mario Bros. Wonder has been officially announced.
The product was revealed during a Nintendo Direct presentation held on 12th September.
The “Talking Flower Figure” is a recreation of the quirky and chatty character from the popular platformer and includes a built-in gimmick that allows it to speak, though specific details on how this is activated are yet to be revealed.
The release of this new item is timed to coincide with the announcement of a new, “Switch 2 Edition” of the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game.
This was one of several major announcements made during the Nintendo Direct.
A major double announcement was also made for the Super Mario Galaxy franchise.
A new animated film, “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” was confirmed for an April 2026 release.
Nintendo also announced that “Super Mario Galaxy” and “Super Mario Galaxy 2” will also be released as a double pack for the Nintendo Switch in October 2025.
New amiibo figures for the upcoming racing game, Kirby’s Air Rider, were also revealed.
These new amiibo feature a unique, “mix-and-match” gimmick that allows the rider and vehicle parts to be physically swapped, a change that is then reflected in the game.
The new “Talking Flower” is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2026.
