NIKKE confirms upcoming Resident Evil collaboration at Gamescom

A new, major collaboration has been announced for the popular mobile and PC game, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, which will be a crossover with the legendary survival horror franchise, Resident Evil.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, the 20th of August, as part of the Gamescom 2025 event.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is a “gun girl RPG” from the developer Shift Up, which is known for its high-profile collaborations with other major anime and video game series.
The crossover was first hinted at in a teaser posted to the game’s official social media accounts:
That initial video showed the existing NIKKE character, Poli, witnessing a mysterious ceremony, and featured the silhouettes of two figures resembling the Resident Evil protagonists, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, approaching a familiar-looking mansion.

The full, official confirmation came during the “Future Games Show” broadcast at Gamescom.
The new trailer shown during that event officially revealed the in-game appearance of Jill Valentine, confirming her as one of the characters who will be part of the crossover.

The initial teaser also strongly hinted at the appearance of Chris Redfield, though his role in the event has not yet been fully detailed.
This new partnership brings the iconic characters and horror-themed world of Capcom’s legendary franchise into the sci-fi setting of NIKKE.
Further details regarding the start date of the in-game event and what other characters or content will be included are expected to be announced in the near future.
