New Yu-Gi-Oh! and 7-Eleven collab offers fans exclusive promo cards for buying candy

Konami has announced a new promotional campaign that will give customers a chance to acquire exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! trading cards.
The campaign is a collaboration with the nationwide convenience store chain, 7-Eleven, and the confectionery company, Morinaga.

The promotion is a “gift-with-purchase” event, where customers who buy a certain number of qualifying products will receive a free, limited-edition item on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the past, 7-Eleven has held similar promotions in collaboration with the Gundam series and the WIND BREAKER and BLEACH animes.

For this event, customers who purchase any three qualifying “Hi-Chew” candy products will be given one of five possible exclusive promotional cards.
The promo cards feature original designs created specifically for this campaign and are split between two different formats of the popular trading card game.

Three of the cards are for the classic “Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game,” while the other two are for the newer, faster-paced format, “Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel.”
The full lineup of five exclusive promotional cards is as follows:
Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG

- Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon
- Dark Magician Girl
- Kuriboh
Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel

- Judge Man
- Harpie Girl

Each 7-Eleven store will be stocked with a limited quantity of 30 promotional cards in total, with six copies of each of the five different designs.
The qualifying products for the campaign are twelve different varieties of Morinaga’s popular “Hi-Chew” chewy candy.

This campaign offers fans and collectors a new way to obtain unique cards featuring some of the most iconic monsters from the franchise’s long history.
The promotion is scheduled to begin at 7-Eleven stores across Japan from Thursday, the 7th of August, 2025, and will run until the 20th of August, 2025, or until the supply of cards at each store is exhausted.
