EG Wing Gundam and MG Barbatos Lupus Gunpla release date and price confirmed during 45th anniversary livestream

During the “Gunpla 45th Anniversary Special Broadcast!” live-stream from BANDAI SPIRITS, a wave of new Gunpla model kits scheduled for release later this year was announced.
The announcements included an addition to the beginner-friendly Entry Grade from Gundam Wing, a highly anticipated Master Grade from Iron-Blooded Orphans, and new High Grade kits from its popular spin-off series, Urdr Hunt.

The Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, which commemorates its 45th anniversary this year, has consistently evolved since its 1979 debut, producing a vast universe of anime, films, manga, and video games.

A cornerstone of its enduring popularity is Gunpla (Gundam plastic models), which allows fans to build and collect miniature replicas of their favorite Mobile Suits.

BANDAI SPIRITS regularly introduces new kits across various grades, catering to different skill levels and preferences, maintaining the franchise’s dynamic appeal.

These newly revealed Gunpla models cater to both new enthusiasts and seasoned builders, offering popular designs from different Gundam timelines:
ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Wing Gundam

The “ENTRY GRADE” line is specifically designed for Gunpla beginners, emphasizing ease of assembly with minimal parts and often no need for stickers.

This new kit brings the iconic Wing Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, a series particularly popular in Western markets, to this accessible grade.

The announcement highlights that even its “fine coloring is reproduced” without the use of stickers, making it an ideal entry point for newcomers to the hobby.
It is expected to be released in October 2025 and will be priced at 1,100 yen ($7.46 USD / £5.64 GBP).
Update: Additional images of the EG Wing Gundam kit and a new Options Set Kit have been revealed now that pre-orders have opened.
