New S.H.Figuarts of Hunter x Hunter’s Kurapika features his Scarlet Eyes and Nen Chains

A new action figure based on Kurapika from the popular anime series Hunter x Hunter has been announced by Bandai Spirits.
The new figure is the latest entry in the “S.H.Figuarts” line, a collector-focused series of premium, highly-articulated figures.

Kurapika is the last survivor of the Kurta Clan, a people known for their beautiful “Scarlet Eyes,” which manifest when their emotions are heightened.

The figure has been meticulously designed to capture his unique abilities and comes with four different interchangeable face plates: two with his normal eyes, and two with his activated, glowing Scarlet Eyes.

A key feature of the figure is the inclusion of a variety of parts to recreate his Nen ability, which involves conjuring five different magical chains that extend from the fingers of his right hand.

The set includes four different, special right-hand parts, each with a different one of his signature chains extended: the “Holy Chain” for healing, the “Chain Jail” for restraining, the “Dowsing Chain” for tracking, and the “Judgment Chain” for imposing rules.

Launching for pre-order at the same time is a new S.H.Figuarts figure of Leorio.

This figure comes with four different expression parts, including a “shouting face” for combat and a “crying face” to recreate his emotional reaction to Gon’s recovery.

It also includes an effect part to replicate his Nen ability from the “Election Arc.”

Each of the two new S.H.Figuarts is priced at ¥9,900 (approx. $67 USD/£50 GBP).

Pre-orders for both figures are scheduled to open at general retail stores from Thursday, the 28th of August, 2025.
The S.H.Figuarts Leorio is scheduled to be released in March 2026, followed by the S.H.Figuarts Kurapika in April 2026.
