New Interspecies Reviewers Figure Brings Meidri’s Egg Laying Scene to Life

AmiAmi has partnered with figure maker Alice Glint to launch a new statue inspired by the anime and manga series Interspecies Reviewers, featuring the popular waitress Meidri in 1/7 scale form.
Interspecies Reviewers is an adult fantasy comedy manga written by Amahara and illustrated by masha, set in a world where many different races live together and interact freely.

The story centers on the human adventurer Stunk, the elf archer Zel, and the angel Crimvael as they visit establishments catering to various species and earn money by publishing reviews of their experiences.

Blending fantasy settings with mature humor, the series has become known for its comedic scenarios and unconventional premise.

The new “Meidri” 1/7 scale figure spotlights one of the franchise’s best-known supporting characters, the waitress who works at the Ale & Eats tavern.

The figure recreates the memorable scene in which Meidri has just laid two eggs.

Meidri is portrayed in her signature maid outfit, clutching her stomach with a weary expression that reflects the aftermath of the event.

The sculpt faithfully captures Meidri’s distinctive features, including the large wings extending from her back.

Every feather has been individually sculpted to create a layered appearance, while gradient paintwork enhances the realism of the wings.

Special attention has also been paid to Meidri’s three-toed talons, which have been designed with convincing biological detail.

The figure also includes as yet undisclosed, but quite obvious, hidden components that have not yet been fully revealed in any of the images released by the manufacturer.

An AmiAmi-exclusive edition will be offered with an interchangeable smiling face part for an alternate display option.

This exclusive version additionally includes an acrylic keychain bonus.

The pre-painted “Meidri” 1/7 scale figure measures approximately 15 cm in height and 23 cm in width.

The standard release is planned for March 2027 with a suggested retail price of 26,400 yen (approx. $180 USD/ £135 GBP), while the AmiAmi-exclusive edition is priced at 26,950 yen (approx. $185 USD/ £138 GBP) and is scheduled for release during the same period.
