New Gundam ZZ Aloha Shirts Arrive Just in Time for Summer

The official Gundam apparel brand STRICT-G has announced a brand new collection of summer clothing themed after the classic anime Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.
This new release introduces two different aloha shirts designed to celebrate the milestone 40th anniversary of the television series.

STRICT-G has turned iconic mobile suits and logos from Gundam ZZ into striking, all-over patterns that cover the entire garment.

Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ originally aired as a direct sequel to Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, focusing on a new group of young pilots who find themselves swept into the continuing conflict between the Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG) and the remnants of Zeon.

Fans can choose from two variants, with one modeled after the powerful ZZ Gundam and another based on the formidable Qubeley Mk-II.

By centering this new drop on these classic mobile suits, the brand allows fans to showcase their appreciation for the Universal Century timeline through casual streetwear.

Each shirt is crafted from a lightweight rayon material that is soft to the touch, ensuring a highly comfortable fit during the warm summer months, and sizing ranges from M through XXL.
The ZZ Gundam variant prominently features the titular mobile suit alongside the official faction emblem of the AEUG.

The alternative Qubeley Mk-II variant incorporates the distinct silhouette of Elpeo Ple’s specialized mobile suit alongside the recognizable iconography of Neo Zeon.

Pre-orders for this anniversary apparel collection are currently open via Premium Bandai Japan and P-Bandai US.
Each of the two aloha shirts carries a retail price of 16,500 yen (approx. $105 USD / £83 GBP) when purchased from Premium Bandai Japan, with the price set at $138 when purchasing from P-Bandai US.
Orders from Premium Bandai Japan are scheduled to begin shipping out to customers throughout June 2026, whereas orders from P-Bandai US will be shipped in July 2026.
For those looking to purchase these pieces in person, the shirts will officially launch across physical Strict-G retail store locations across Japan on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
