New Gundam Hathaway Sukajan Jackets Feature the Xi and Penelope

Bandai has announced the release of high-end souvenir jackets featuring mobile suits from the latest theatrical film in the Gundam franchise.
The STRICT-G Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe Sukajan collection features two reversible designs with intricate embroidery on premium satin fabric.

A Sukajan or “Souvenir Jacket” is a style of apparel that originated in Yokosuka where American soldiers would have Japanese-inspired motifs embroidered onto their clothing.

This traditional style has become a staple of Japanese street fashion and is highly sought after by fans for its detailed needlework and glossy texture.
STRICT-G is the official apparel brand for the Gundam series and operates several specialized retail locations in Japan.

The reversible nature of these jackets allows wearers to switch between a bold mobile suit design and a more understated pilot suit aesthetic.

Each piece is crafted from 100% polyester satin to provide a smooth feel and a brilliant visual finish for the wearer.
Let’s take a look at both jackets in closer detail!
- Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe Xi Gundam

The front of this navy and silver jacket features the Mafty organization logo while the back showcases a dynamic embroidered image of the Xi Gundam.

- Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe Penelope

This black and gold garment features the Earth Federation Force emblem on the chest and a highly detailed embroidery of the Penelope mobile suit on the back.

The price for each jacket is 35,200 yen (approx. $234 USD / £185 GBP) and sizes range from Medium to Double Extra Large.
