New event exclusive Gundam SEED model kit will only be available at a Japanese rock festival
Bandai Spirits’ Hobby Division has announced that it will once again have a booth at the “INAZUMA ROCK FES,” a major outdoor music festival held in Shiga Prefecture, Japan.
As with its previous appearance in 2024, the company will be selling a new, event-exclusive Gunpla kit at the festival.
The new kit is the “HG 1/144 Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam [Recirculation Color/Neon Blue].”

“Recirculation Color” is a special line of model kits that often uses recycled plastic materials, known as “ecopla,” and features a distinctive, dark color scheme with bright, neon-colored highlights.
This new kit takes the iconic protagonist’s mobile suit from the hit film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM and reimagines it in this unique style.

The model features a black base color, with the normally gold parts of its joints and wings, as well as its beam sabers, rendered in a striking neon blue.

As a special, on-site bonus, customers who purchase the kit at the festival will also receive a free, exclusive “INAZUMA ROCK FES 2025 Limited Marking Seal” sheet.
This special sheet includes the festival’s logo and other unique designs that can be applied to the model kit.

This new kit will have an advance in-person pre-sale at the festival, but it has also been confirmed that it will be sold at The Gundam Base stores and at other future events at a later date.
Other activities, such as a “My Plastic Station” recycling area, will also be held at the Bandai Spirits booth in the festival’s free area.
The “HG 1/144 Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam [Recirculation Color/Neon Blue]” is priced at ¥3,300 (approx. $22 USD/£16 GBP).
The INAZUMA ROCK FES 2025 is scheduled to be held on Saturday, the 20th of September, and Sunday, the 21st of September, 2025.
