Mr. Osomatsu 2nd Live-Action Movie Premieres New Trailer And Visual

The official website for the second live-action film based on the Mr. Osomatsu anime series has revealed a new trailer and visual for the upcoming project titled Eiga Osomatsu-san Jinrui Kuzu-ka Keikaku!!!!!?.

Originally scheduled for a theatrical release in Japan on January 9, 2026, the movie has been delayed to a new premiere date of June 12, 2026, citing various production circumstances.

The promotional trailer highlights the film’s main theme song titled Dekoboko Life which is performed by the Japanese male idol group Ae! Group.

Five members of Ae! Group will lead the production by starring as five of the famous Matsuno sextuplets, while Takuya Nishimura from Kansai Junior joins the cast to round out the group of brothers.

The specific casting features Seiya Suezawa as Osomatsu, Yoshinori Masakado as Karamatsu, Masaya Sano as Choromatsu, Ken Kojima as Ichimatsu, Keita Richard Kusama as Jushimatsu, and Takuya Nishimura as Todomatsu.

This new lineup replaces the members of the group SNOW MAN who previously portrayed the characters in the first live-action adaptation released in 2022.

The plot follows the sextuplets as they continue their lives as adult NEETs until a strange phenomenon occurs where society begins to praise their typically scummy behavior.

The Mr. Osomatsu franchise serves as a modern revival of the classic Osomatsu-kun manga by Fujio Akatsuka, which originally ran from 1962 to 1969.

Fans can currently stream all four seasons of the animated TV series on Crunchyroll to catch up on the brothers’ antics before the live-action sequel debuts on June 12, 2026.
