Monster Strike announces limited time “Bocchi the Rock!” event
“Monster Strike” (Monst), and the hit anime series “Bocchi the Rock!” are set to collaborate for the first time.
“Bocchi the Rock!” has garnered immense popularity since its debut, with its charming portrayal of Hitori Goto, an introverted high school girl who dreams of joining a band, and her journey with Kessoku Band.
The anime’s blend of relatable character struggles, slice-of-life humor, and energetic musical performances has resonated with fans worldwide.
“Monster Strike,” a behemoth in the mobile gaming scene, is known for its strategic gameplay and frequent collaborations with popular anime and manga series and brands, which include a recent team up with potato chip manufacturer Calbee.
The new collaboration event is set to begin this Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM JST, and will run until June 2, 2025, at 11:59 AM JST.
This exciting crossover will allow “Monst” players to add their favorite members of Kessoku Band and related characters to their monster roster:
- Hitori Goto (Guitar Hero): Players can acquire the protagonist, “Guitar Hero Hitori Goto” (Dark element, ★6, Beastified), by purchasing the “Collaboration Starter Pack.” (CV: Yoshino Aoyama)
- Gacha Debuts: Members of Kessoku Band will make their limited-time debut in the “Cho-Jushinsai” gacha:
- “Energetic Drummer Nijika Ijichi” (Light element, ★6, Beastified) (CV: Suzushiro Sayumi)
- “Solitary Bassist Ryo Yamada” (Water element, ★6, Beastified) (CV: Saku Mizuno)
- “Cheerful Vocalist Ikuyo Kita” (Fire element, ★6, Beastified) (CV: Ikumi Hasegawa)
Quest Rewards:
- Kikuri Hiroi (Bass & Vocal):
- By clearing collaboration quests and collecting “Paper Packs,” players can exchange them for “Bass & Vocal Kikuri Hiroi” (Dark element, ★6, Evolved). (CV: Sayaka Senbongi)
- Kessoku Band:
- The ultimate prize, “Four-Person Bond Kessoku Band” (Wood element, ★6, Evolved), featuring the full vocal cast, can be obtained by clearing missions and as a first-time login bonus during the collaboration period.
