Monster Hunter Wilds’ Halloween event adds exclusive new armor and Arch-tempered Nu Udra
The very first seasonal event for the hit hunting action game Monster Hunter Wilds has been officially announced.
The “Festival of Accord: Dreamspell” is a new, limited-time event scheduled to begin on October 22nd.
For the duration of the festival, the Grand Hub will be transformed with festive, eerie decorations, and a special seasonal meal will be available at the canteen.
This free, in-game event will also introduce a host of new, exclusive equipment to craft, new event quests, and a powerful new monster.
A special daily login bonus will be active, which will reward players with a special voucher for the new seasonal meal.
Players who claim login bonuses during the event will also receive a bundle of exclusive items, including:
- A new Seikret decoration
- A new Pendant
- A new “Pumpkin Head” Gesture
- A new BGM track
- New Pop-up Camp gear and customizations
- New Hunter Profile backgrounds, poses, and titles
During the event, “Lucky Vouchers” will be increased to two per day, and daily limited bounties will be available.
A number of new, limited-time event quests will be released, allowing players to craft special equipment.
The “Hirabami Harvest” quest will reward materials for the “Harvest α Series” hunter armor and the “Ghost Neko α Series” Palico gear.
A separate quest, “That Won’t Faze Me!,” will feature a Tempered Gypceros and will unlock materials for the “Zeledro α Series” armor and a new outfit for Alma.
The update also brings a new, permanent, and powerful challenge.
A new event quest will be added, introducing “Arch-tempered Nu Udra” to the game.
Defeating this formidable foe will allow players to craft the new, high-end “Exorus γ (Gamma) Series” armor.
To celebrate the festival, players will also be able to try out new “Witch” and “Warlock” outfits for the chroniclers Alma and Eric for free.
These outfits can be purchased as part of the “Dreamspell DLC Pack” to be used permanently, even after the event ends.
Monster Hunter Wilds’ “Festival of Accord: Dreamspell” is scheduled to run from Wednesday, October 22nd, at 9:00 AM JST to Wednesday, November 12th, at 8:59 AM JST.
