Milky☆Subway “Cafe Staff ver.” POP UP STORE at Hands
Image by James RichardsonA new Milky☆Subway pop-up shop tour is set to begin this November, offering exclusive merchandise featuring the anime’s characters in cafe staff-inspired outfits.
The “Milky☆Subway POP UP STORE in Hands” will visit five locations across Japan, introducing new character goods alongside previously released merchandise and special purchase bonuses.
Created by Yohei Kameyama, Milky☆Subway: The Galactic Limited Express is a science-fiction comedy anime that originally aired in 2025, following a group of troublesome characters assigned to community service aboard an interplanetary train.
The series follows Chiharu and Makina alongside Akane, Kanata, Kurt and Max as their seemingly straightforward cleaning assignment turns into chaos when the train unexpectedly begins operating.
The upcoming merchandise collection uses original illustrations depicting the characters dressed as cafe employees, with seven character designs appearing across several product categories.
New additions include trading holographic badges, acrylic character displays and connecting acrylic keychains, allowing fans to collect and display their favorite characters together.
The collection also introduces additional illustrated T-shirt designs alongside a wider assortment of character merchandise.
Other products will include aurora acrylic stands, acrylic blocks, trading acrylic cards, character name keychains, tote bags, stickers and clear files.
A separate selection of kitchenware includes a curry plate and two curry spoon designs, expanding the merchandise beyond the usual character collectibles.
Customers spending ¥2,500 on eligible merchandise in a single transaction will receive one randomly selected special postcard from seven designs, with another available for every additional ¥2,500 spent.
The postcards measure approximately 10 × 14.8 centimeters and will be distributed while supplies last, with customers unable to choose their preferred designs.
Individual merchandise purchases will generally be limited to three of each item per transaction, with complete trading boxes limited to three boxes.
Muzzle will also offer the merchandise through its official online store following the opening of the physical events, with deliveries scheduled for early April 2027.
Online orders will be accepted from January 11 at noon JST through February 19, 2027 at 11:59 PM JST.
Purchases made through the online store will not qualify for the postcard promotion.
The “Milky☆Subway POP UP STORE in Hands” will begin at Hands Hakata from November 10 through November 24, 2026.
The tour will then visit Hands Sapporo and Hands Yokohama from December 4 through December 27, followed by Hands Shinjuku and Hands Shinsaibashi from January 28 through February 17, 2027.
Opening hours will follow the regular schedules of the participating Hands stores.
