Love Live! Unit AiScReam Announces Ruby’s Graduation

The Love Live! series has announced a major change to the lineup of one of its special units.
The “AiScReam” unit will soon see the graduation of founding member Ai Furihata (Ruby) and the introduction of two new performers.

Love Live! is a multimedia franchise that revolves around the concept of “School Idols,” where high school students form groups to save their schools or achieve their dreams.

AiScReam is a cross-group unit originally formed through the “Love Live! Series All Night Nippon GOLD” radio program.
The group gained significant popularity with their song “Ai ♡ Scream!,” which was released in February 2025 and surpassed 20 million views within three months.

The original lineup consisted of Aguri Onishi (voice of Ayumu Uehara from Nijigasaki High School Idol Club), Wakana Ookuma (voice of Shiki Wakana from Liella!), and Ai Furihata (voice of Ruby Kurosawa from Aqours).

On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the official account announced that Furihata will be leaving the group.
Her final appearance with the unit will be during a podcast distribution scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2026.

Following her departure, two new members will join the group to mark a fresh start for the project.
Miu Miyake, who plays Ceras Yanagida Lilienfeld, and Rina Endo, who plays Mai Azabu, have been confirmed as the new additions.

A new song is already in production and will be released under this new system in the near future.
Ai Furihata commented on the announcement, expressing her gratitude for the experience despite it being a limited-time activity.
She stated that while Ruby is graduating, she hopes the fans, known as “Spoons,” will continue to support the group moving forward.
