Lalah Sune and Zaku Star in Gundam’s New Universal Century Collection
BANDAI SPIRITS has announced a new entry in its Ichiban Kuji prize lottery series based on the Universal Century timeline of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise.
The upcoming release carries the title Mobile Suit Gundam UNIVERSAL CENTURY SAGA INTERLUDE and focuses heavily on one of the series’ most recognizable mobile suit families, the Zaku.
The lottery follows the familiar no-lose format of the Ichiban Kuji brand, with participants receiving a prize for every draw.
Among the headline rewards are two entries in the BUSTISAN bust figure line, which transforms famous Gundam mobile suits into highly detailed display pieces.
The A Prize features a sculpted 16cm tall bust of the standard Zaku II, recreating the iconic Zeon machine in a compact collectible format.
The B Prize offers a variation based on the Zaku II used by the Black Tri-Stars, the famed Zeon ace pilot team known throughout the Universal Century storyline.
Another major item in the lineup is the C Prize, which presents a figure of Lalah Sune, one of the most important characters from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series.
Collectors will also have the opportunity to obtain the E Prize, a set of Zaku Head Magnets featuring four different designs inspired by various versions of the mobile suit.
The special Last One Prize, awarded to the participant who purchases the final available ticket, consists of a BUSTISAN bust figure based on Char Aznable’s custom red Zaku II.
This exclusive reward highlights one of the most famous mobile suits in anime history and serves as the centerpiece of the collection.
Additional prizes and the complete lineup are expected to be revealed at a later date as the launch period approaches.
Mobile Suit Gundam UNIVERSAL CENTURY SAGA INTERLUDE is scheduled to become available through Ichiban Kuji ONLINE and other participating outlets in November 2026, with each draw priced at 900 yen (approx. $6 USD/ £5 GBP).
