Kotobukiya’s My Little Pony BISHOUJO series continues with Princess Cadance

Pre-orders have opened for the latest entry in the popular “MY LITTLE PONY BISHOUJO” series of collectible figures by the manufacturer Kotobukiya.
The new figure is a 1/7 scale statue of the beloved alicorn, Princess Cadance.

The “BISHOUJO” line is a long-running series of high-quality figures that are based on original, stylized “beautiful girl” illustrations by the popular artist, Shunya Yamashita.

This new statue reimagines Princess Cadance, the ruler of the Crystal Empire, in a brand-new, original design.

In the lore of the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic series, Princess Cadance is known for overcoming hardships with the power of love, and she served as the foal-sitter for the young Twilight Sparkle.

Her new BISHOUJO design is based on an imperial-style dress, reminiscent of a goddess of love.

The dress is molded in a clear plastic material and features a gradation paint effect to give it a mystical appearance, while the gold accessories add a gorgeous and cute style.

Her bright and colorful hair has been recreated with a special pearl paint finish.

The statue also comes with a separate, non-articulated figure of Princess Cadance in her pony form.

This pony figure is designed with a more mature silhouette and atmosphere than the previous “Mane 6” characters in the series.

The pony can be displayed alongside the main statue or on its own.

A teaser has also been included with the announcement, revealing that Princess Cadance’s arch-nemesis, Queen Chrysalis, is the next character scheduled for release in the series.

The “MY LITTLE PONY PRINCESS CADANCE BISHOUJO STATUE” is priced at ¥23,100 (approx. $157 USD/£116 GBP) and it is scheduled to be released in March 2026.

Pre-orders are now open via the official Kotobukiya online store.
