Kiln Comes to Xbox, PS5 and PC on April 23

Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Double Fine Productions have officially announced that their upcoming team based multiplayer pottery party brawler Kiln will launch on April 23, 2026.
The game is scheduled for release across multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
Subscribers to the Game Pass service will also be able to access the title on the day of its launch.
For players eager to experience the ceramic combat early, an open beta test will be conducted on PC via Steam from April 9, 2026, to April 11, 2026.
Kiln is described as a pottery power fantasy that combines the creative process of sculpting with the chaotic destruction of arena-based brawling.
Players take control of colorful spirits that inhabit ceramic bodies sculpted on a virtual pottery wheel.
The physical attributes of each creation, such as its size and shape, directly influence gameplay statistics and the specific abilities available in battle..
Combatants can choose to craft a variety of forms, including plates, jugs, cups, or bowls, each offering unique tactical advantages.
Matches require teams to work together to penetrate enemy lines and collect enough water to extinguish the flames of the opposing kiln.
Outside of active competition, players can visit an area known as The Wedge to refine their sculpting techniques and decorate their pots.
The game features realistic clay manipulation physics to provide an immersive crafting experience before players engage in multiplayer destruction.
