Avail x Sanrio Kaito collab 1

Japanese fashion retailer Avail has announced a new collaboration with the virtual singers Hatsune Miku and KAITO, pairing them with popular Sanrio characters.

The collection is being released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of KAITO, the pioneering male Vocaloid developed by Crypton Future Media.

The new line features exclusive apparel items that depict the characters singing together in original designs not found elsewhere.

Hatsune Miku is a global pop culture icon, a virtual singer who has performed concerts worldwide and inspired countless creative works since her release in 2007.

KAITO, her predecessor released in 2006, is a blue-haired male vocal synthesizer known for his deep, versatile voice.

In this special anniversary collaboration, the Vocaloids are joined by Sanrio mascots Tuxedo Sam and Cinnamoroll.

The designs capture the characters “singing merrily” together, blending the digital world of Vocaloid with the “kawaii” charm of Sanrio.
