Jurassic World Evolution 3 Rebirth Expansion Announced with New Species and Features

Frontier Developments has officially announced the Rebirth Expansion for Jurassic World Evolution 3, which is scheduled for release on June 16, 2026.

This significant update will be available for players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S at a retail price of $24.99.

The expansion introduces a fresh narrative campaign that takes place across three top-secret locations, including the Main Facility, Ancient Valley, and Riverside Lab.

Players will encounter four new prehistoric species, most notably the Distortus Rex, which features aggressive behavior and unique animation sets.

The Mutadon joins the roster as a hybrid predator capable of aerial ambushes, while the massive Titanosaurus and the herbivorous Aquilops round out the new additions.

In addition to new animals, the DLC provides a variety of skins inspired by the Jurassic World Rebirth film for the T rex, Spinosaurus, Mosasaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Dilophosaurus, and Velociraptor.

Management gameplay is being expanded with the introduction of geothermal power networks, requiring players to build and maintain underground piping to support their parks.

New open-air aviaries will allow for greater verticality in flying reptile enclosures, removing visual obstructions for a more natural look.

The research system is also growing through the inclusion of experimental traits that allow scientists to alter the social and behavioral patterns of their dinosaurs.

Architecture on the island of Ile Saint-Hubert can be customized with over 35 new blueprints and hundreds of scenery items, including Mayan-inspired temples and modern industrial structures.
