Jujutsu Kaisen fan festival to return in Summer 2026

Jujutsu Kaisen’s “Juju Fes” fan festival will return in summer 2026 after a two year absence.

“Juju Fes 2026” has been revealed as the grand finale for the year-long fifth-anniversary celebration of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime.

The event has not been held since 2024, however fans can now look forward to its return which has been promised to be on a greater scale than ever before.

The announcement was one of five major reveals made on Sunday, the 31st of August, during a special anniversary broadcast.

“Juju Fes” will serve as a culminating event for a year packed with new content for the globally popular franchise.

The broadcast also included the first official details for the anime’s highly anticipated third season, which will be titled “Culling Game – Part 1.”

A new teaser promotional video for the season was released, showcasing a climactic battle between the series’ protagonists, Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu.

The third season is scheduled to begin its broadcast in January of 2026.

Fans will also be given a chance to see some of the new season early, thanks to a new movie.

To bridge the gap between the second and third seasons, a special theatrical event titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution will be released.

This presentation will feature a newly edited compilation of the “Shibuya Incident” arc, followed by a world premiere screening of the first two episodes of the new “Culling Game” season.

The Japanese theatrical release is scheduled for Friday, the 7th of November, with a North American release to follow on the 5th of December, 2025.

The other major announcements from the stream included the confirmation of a new anime exhibition for the series.

Specific dates and the location of “Juju Fes 2026” are yet to be announced, however fans can look forward to hearing more information in the coming months.
