JJBA: Steel Ball Run anime officially announced with new visuals and trailer

The highly anticipated anime adaptation of the next part of Hirohiko Araki’s “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” has been officially confirmed, with the animated series set to be titled “Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”.
In conjunction with this exciting announcement, fans have been treated to the release of a new promotional images, character art and an initial teaser trailer, offering a first glimpse into the how the anime will adapt this chapter of the JoJo saga.
Set in the rugged landscape of late 19th century America, Part 7 of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series known as “Steel Ball Run” chronicles the first transcontinental horseback race to ever take place across the vast expanse of North America.
The central narrative follows the journey of Johnny Joestar, a former jockey who has to grapple with the challenges of partial paralysis, as he forms an unlikely alliance with the mysterious Gyro Zeppeli.

The newly unveiled promotional image shows the dynamic duo of Johnny and Gyro as they race through the untamed American wilderness.
Individual character designs specifically showcasing the designs of both Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli in their animated forms have also been officially released.

To commemorate “Steel Ball Run” receiving an anime adaptation, a special celebratory event entitled “JoJo Caravan” is scheduled to be held at the Shibuya SACS venue located in Tokyo.
This event will be held over a period of twelve days, starting from April 13th and continuing until April 24th.
Attendees at the “JoJo Caravan” event will be have the opportunity to appreciate a curated collection of color illustrations and meticulously reproduced versions of the original monochrome artwork from the “Steel Ball Run” manga.

In addition to these displays, the event will also feature photo spots designed for fans to picture themselves in the world of “Steel Ball Run”.
The event will also include an exhibition providing a retrospective look at the previous anime adaptations within the “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” franchise.
Exclusive limited-edition merchandise related to “Steel Ball Run” will also be available for purchase at the event venue.
Following its initial run in Tokyo, the “JoJo Caravan” event is currently planned to visit other cities across Japan, bringing this celebration of the “Steel Ball Run” anime adaptation to a wider audience
The official announcement regarding this highly anticipated anime adaptation and the accompanying “JoJo Caravan” event was made earlier today, April 12th, during the JOJODAY STAGE, a special event held at the National Yoyogi Stadium, also located in Tokyo.
