Japanese fans to get exclusive Magic: The Gathering – FINAL FANTASY goods for buying boosters at convenience stores
Japanese convenience store chain Lawson is set to launch a special campaign for Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy that will see fans get exclusive merchandise for purchasing everyday items.
This promotion coincides with the release of the new collaborative trading card game (TCG) booster packs.
Magic: The Gathering, created by Wizards of the Coast, is a globally recognized collectible card game, known for its strategic depth and rich fantasy lore.
Final Fantasy, developed by Square Enix, is a long-running video game franchise celebrated for its expansive worlds, memorable characters, and innovative storytelling.
The crossover combines these two titans of fantasy entertainment, bringing characters and elements from the Final Fantasy universe into the mechanics of Magic: The Gathering.
From June 17th to June 30th, customers at Lawson who purchase three qualifying Lotte snack products will receive one of eight unique clear file designs:
These clear files feature artwork directly from the Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy cards, including designs showcasing iconic characters like Cloud and Sephiroth, as well as the “Traveling Chocobo” card art.
Additionally, starting June 13th, the Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy booster packs themselves will be sold at Lawson.
Customers who purchase three booster packs will receive a random acrylic stand from a collection of five designs (whilst stocks last):
This collaboration offers fans of both franchises a chance to collect exclusive merchandise while also picking up the new TCG set.
