Limited-edition Hoshimachi Suisei gaming accessory range set to go on sale

Hoshimachi Suisei fans will soon be able to rep their favourite VTuber with their gaming setup.
HYTE has announced the upcoming release of two highly anticipated Hoshimachi Suisei collaboration products.

These offerings, a limited-edition keycap and mousepad set and a custom PC case, are designed to appeal to both gaming enthusiasts and fans of the virtual idol.

Hoshimachi Suisei is a virtual idol and livestreamer affiliated with hololive production, a leading VTuber agency managed by Cover Corporation.

Debuting in 2018, she has risen to immense popularity, boasting millions of subscribers across her social media platforms.
Suisei is particularly popular due to her powerful singing voice, her gaming streams (especially her skill in Tetris), and her engaging personality.

Her strong connection with her fanbase, often referred to as “Comets”, has led to numerous successful merchandise collaborations with brands like Converse and even appearances on mainstream Japanese television and music charts.

The first product, the HYTE Hoshimachi Suisei Keycap + Mouse Pad set, is priced at 19,980 yen (approx. $139.19 USD / £101.52 GBP).
This set includes a full keycap set compatible with Cherry MX key switches, which are widely considered the industry standard for mechanical keyboards due to their reliability and tactile feedback.

The keycaps feature custom designs inspired by Hoshimachi Suisei, printed using dye-sublimation technology.

Dye-sublimation printing infuses the ink directly into the plastic of the keycap.

This makes them highly resistant to issues such as wear, fading, and shine, that might occur with extensive use.

The designs on the keycaps feature cats, stars, ribbons and Hoshimachi Suisei herself.

The set also comes with a generously sized cloth mousepad, measuring 900mm (over 35 inches) in width, featuring Hoshimachi Suisei artwork and providing ample space for gaming precision.

The initial limited-edition of the keyboard and mousepad set will include a special tapestry.

Complementing the desktop accessories, HYTE will also release the HYTE Y70 Hoshimachi Suisei Limited Edition PC case, with a retail price of 49,980 yen (approx. $348 USD / £253 GBP).

This collaboration PC case is based on HYTE’s critically acclaimed “Y70” pillarless PC case.
The HYTE Y70 is known for its modern aesthetic, massive cooling capacity, and panoramic tempered glass panels that offer an unobstructed view of the internal components.

It also features the power button conveniently located on the front, but placed within the top border so that it does not obstruct the artwork.

The “HYTE Y70 Hoshimachi Suisei Limited Edition” case elevates the standard Y70 design with new illustrations of Hoshimachi Suisei on both the front and left side panels.

The top and right side panels of the case are finished in a distinctive “midnight blue”, a color chosen to reflect Hoshimachi Suisei’s signature aesthetic.

Each limited edition case will also feature a unique serial number engraved on a plate on the back, further enhancing its exclusivity and collector’s appeal.

Like the keycap and mousepad set, the first limited edition of the PC case will come with a tapestry featuring the side panel illustration.

These collaborative products represent a growing trend of partnerships between gaming hardware manufacturers and virtual entertainment personalities, catering to a demographic that values both high-performance equipment and personalized, collectible merchandise.

Both the keycap and mousepad set and the PC case are due to be released on July 5th, 2025.
HYTE has confirmed that the following hobby and electronics retailers will be stocking the collaboration products:
- Applied Net
- AmiAmi
- Oliospec
- Surugaya
- ZOA Inc.
- Sofmap
- Tsukumo
- PC Workshop
- Power Depot
- PC DEPOT (Online only)
- PC Ones
Demand is expected to be high, so fans will need to make sure they place their orders as soon as the Hoshimachi Suisei gaming accessory range goes on sale.
