Japanese restaurant chain CoCo Ichibanya has announced a delicious new collaboration with one of the most popular VTuber agencies in the world, hololive.

The “Store Manager Subaru and New Employee Kanade’s #CoCoIchiHololiveStore” campaign will see exclusive menu items and original merchandise introduced to stores for a limited time.

“hololive Production” is a massive virtual YouTuber agency operated by Cover Corporation, featuring dozens of talented digital entertainers who stream games and music to millions of viewers globally.

CoCo Ichibanya is a popular Japanese curry house franchise famous for allowing customers to customize their spice levels, rice portions, and a massive variety of toppings.

Oozora Subaru is a highly energetic talent from hololive’s second generation, while Otonose Kanade is a newer musical talent belonging to the agency’s ReGLOSS branch.

The concept behind this promotion sees Subaru take on the role of a fictional store manager while Kanade acts as her rookie employee.

To engage with their massive audience, the two talents will host a special live broadcast on their respective YouTube channels on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

During this stream, they will review topping customization ideas submitted by fans on the social media platform X to create a special “Listener Curry.”

Fans can submit their ideas using a promotional hashtag (#スバなで見守り中) for a chance to win rare limited-edition goods.

Starting on May 1, 2026, the newly created “Listener Curry” will be added to the promotional menu alongside Subaru and Kanade’s personally recommended “My Curry” combinations.

The first phase of the campaign is scheduled to run from Thursday, April 16, 2026, to Thursday, April 30, 2026.

The second phase will immediately follow, running from Friday, May 1, 2026, until Sunday, May 24, 2026.

These collaborative meals will be available to purchase at participating Curry House CoCo Ichibanya restaurant locations across Japan.
