Hololive Collaboration Coming To Round1 Stores Nationwide This October
A new collaboration between popular VTuber group Hololive and one of Japan’s most recognisable arcade chains, Round1, is coming this October.
The collaboration is set to feature popular Hololive members Gawr Gura, Ninomae Ina’Nis, Shirakami Fubuki, Nekomata Okayu, IRyS and both Mococo and Fuwawa Abyssgard.
From Friday 11th October, select Round1 stores across Japan will have a number of different collaboration events taking place.
Firstly, a collaboration menu will be served at 92 of Round1’s bowling alleys and karaoke rooms. Drinks will be priced at 780 yen, whilst food options are available for 880 yen.
Customers ordering the collaboration menu will also receive an exclusive keychain or coaster, selected at random, with their order:
Special collaboration packs, which offer discounted bowling or karaoke, will also be on offer. Customers purchasing their bowling or karaoke session via the collaboration pack menu will receive a special B4 size plastic mat, selected at random from 3 designs. The available designs will change depending on the date of visit:
It wouldn’t be a visit to an arcade without playing some crane games and so the collaboration also extends to newly created crane game prizes that will appear at 100 Round1 stores nationwide.
Towels, die-cut cushions, acrylic stands and tote bags will all be available to be won via Round1’s variety of crane machines:
Most crane games will cost 100 yen to play, however customers placing 500 yen or more consecutively into any machine will be given a free sticker selected at random from 7 types (Round1 staff must be notified prior to inserting coins to receive this gift):
To make the experience as immersive as possible, popular Hololive members Nekomata Okayu and Shirakami Fubuki will be providing their voice for store announcements at 100 Round1 stores nationwide:
Newly created frames are also available on Round1’s “Rism” photo printing machines. Each group that purchases the collaboration pack will be provided with 1 “Photo Coin” that can be used to take a commemorative photo at a “Rism” machine. You can then select your favourite Hololive themed frame to add to the photo before printing!
If you’re not purchasing the collaboration menu, then you can still take a photo to remember your visit as some stores will also have large character panels installed that allow you to take a photo next to the Hololive members!
20 stores will also have collaboration capsule toys available at a cost of 500 yen, with 14 different badge designs available, each featuring newly drawn illustrations:
Finally, 3 Round1 stores at Ikebukuro in Tokyo, Umeda in Osaka, and Nakagawa 1-gosen in Nagoya will also have a special Hololive collaboration karaoke room available to book.
Reservations to use the collaboration room are required as demand is expected to be high. Bookings can be made via the following links for each store (Japanese language only): Ikebukuro Store, Umeda, Nakagawa 1-gosen.
