Heroes of Descent Is Now Available in Terrinoth
Terrinoth Heroes of Descent Officially Launches on Consoles and PC.
Publisher New Tales and developer Artefacts Studio announced that Terrinoth Heroes of Descent is available starting June 7, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Mac.
The high fantasy tactical RPG is the first video game adaptation of the popular Descent board game universe created by Fantasy Flight Games.
Set one year before the events of the tabletop game Descent Legends of the Dark, the story follows a group of adventurers searching for a forgotten relic to stop an occult master from plunging the world into darkness.
The game features a narrative campaign spanning four chapters and twenty different dungeons designed for both solo play and online co-op with up to four players.
Players can choose from eight different heroes who each possess unique skills and specialized combat styles to use against iconic creatures and bosses.
The production includes full English voice acting with notable performances from actors such as Samantha Béart.
Artefacts Studio CEO Bruno Chabanel stated that the team worked to capture the atmosphere of the original board game while translating it into a cinematic video game experience.
The title is currently priced at 34.99 dollars on digital storefronts following a successful demo period that began on February 10, 2026.
Early user reviews on Steam have been mostly positive, with players highlighting the accessible turn-based combat and the faithful recreation of the tabletop setting.
