Hayley Atwell Joins Fable Cast as February 2027 Release Confirmed
Xbox Game Studios and developer Playground Games have announced that Fable will arrive on February 23, 2027, bringing the long-awaited role-playing adventure to multiple platforms.
The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with PC players able to purchase it through both Steam and the Microsoft Store.
The PlayStation 5 edition was newly confirmed as part of the announcement, marking the first time the upcoming title has been officially announced for Sony’s platform.
Subscribers to Game Pass will also be able to access the game as part of the service when it launches.
Alongside the release date reveal, the publishers shared additional information about the title’s cast of characters.
Among the newly highlighted performers is actress Hayley Atwell, who will portray one of the game’s antagonists.
A new trailer was released in conjunction with the announcement, offering another look at the fantasy role-playing experience and introducing members of the cast.
Fable is being developed by Playground Games, with support from Eidos-Montréal, and will be published by Xbox Game Studios.
Classified as an action RPG, the game is currently planned for release on February 23, 2027, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while also launching on Game Pass at no additional cost to eligible subscribers.
