Hatsune Miku and friends are transformed into animals for the cutest new plushies

A new line of plush toys designed for comfort and softness, dubbed the “Mofufusa” series, is set to release, featuring six prominent Piapro Characters.

The new plush versions of virtual singers Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Meiko, KAITO, and Megurine Luka see each character transformed into adorable animal forms.

The Piapro Characters are a group of virtual singers developed by Crypton Future Media, most notably Hatsune Miku.

These characters have garnered a global following through user-generated music, concerts, and various multimedia projects, becoming cultural icons in their own right. 

The “Mofufusa” series aims to translate their digital appeal into a tangible, comforting form.

Each plush toy in the “Mofufusa” series is specifically designed with a soft, fluffy texture intended to provide a soothing tactile experience.

This new line extends to all six core Piapro Characters:

  • Hatsune Miku

This plush reimagines the iconic virtual singer, recognized by her long, turquoise twin-tails.

  • Kagamine Rin & Kagamine Len

The energetic twin Vocaloids, now reimagined as cute animals!

One of the earliest Japanese Vocaloids, known for her mature vocals and red-themed design.

Mofufusa Megurine Luka

A multilingual Vocaloid capable of singing in both Japanese and English, this new plush version of Luka is super cute.

The reservation period for the new “Mofufusa” plushies began on Friday, June 13th, 2025, at 10:00 AM JST, and will conclude on Monday, July 7th, 2025.

Shipping for pre-ordered items is anticipated to commence in early November 2025.

The “Mofufusa” plush toys are currently available for pre-order via Itateri, with each plush priced at ¥4,400 (tax included).

Fans looking to add these soft, collectible versions of their favorite virtual singers to their collections are encouraged to place their orders during the reservation window to avoid missing out.
