“Gundam SEED DESTINY” METAL ROBOT SPIRITS figures to get new “Wings of Light” effect parts
BANDAI SPIRITS has officially announced the upcoming release of a new dedicated effect parts sets for their highly popular METAL ROBOT SPIRITS line.
Orders will soon commence for the “METAL ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> Destiny Gundam [Re:Coordinate] Wings of Light & Effect Set” and the “METAL ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> Strike Freedom Gundam [Re:Coordinate] Wings of Light & Hi-MAT Full Burst Effect Set”.
These new sets are designed to be used with the previously released “METAL ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> Destiny Gundam [Re:Coordinate]” and “METAL ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> Strike Freedom Gundam [Re:Coordinate]” action figures.
They will allow collectors to fully recreate the iconic “Wings of Light” phenomena for both the Destiny Gundam and the Strike Freedom Gundam, a signature visual spectacle from the anime series.
“Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY,” which aired from 2004 to 2005, is renowned for its dynamic mobile suit combat, particularly the breathtaking displays of power from both Destiny Gundam and Strike Freedom Gundam.
Pre-orders for the “METAL ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> Destiny Gundam [Re:Coordinate] Wings of Light & Effect Set” are scheduled to begin on May 23rd, 2025, at 4:00 PM JST via Premium Bandai, and it will be priced at 8,250 yen (tax included, approx. $57.02 USD/£42.73 GBP).
Details regarding the pre-order date for the Strike Freedom Gundam set are expected to be announced shortly.
