Gundam Card Game Booster Pack Vol. 4 “Phantom Aria” Adds Victory and Turn A
Bandai has officially announced the release of Booster Pack Vol. 4 “Phantom Aria [GD04]” for the Gundam Card Game.
Slated for a worldwide simultaneous launch on Saturday, April 25, 2026, this expansion introduces units from Mobile Suit Victory Gundam and Turn A Gundam.
Victory Gundam units will join the game as Blue cards, while Turn A Gundam units will appear as White cards.
This set also marks the debut of a new mechanic where characters from previously featured series appear in different colors.
Characters from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, such as Suletta Mercury and Sophie Pulone, will be included as Green cards for the first time.
This announcement was one of the highlights of the “GUNDAM CARD GAME NEXT STRATEGY 2026” broadcast, which outlined the game’s schedule through the summer.
The presentation celebrated the game’s rapid growth, noting that over 500 million cards have been shipped globally and event participation has topped 700,000.
Looking ahead to the game’s first anniversary, Bandai also revealed Booster Pack Vol. 5 “Freedom Ascension [GD05]”.
Scheduled for July 25, 2026, this commemorative set features the debut of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny and Mobile Fighter G Gundam.
The Strike Freedom Gundam will appear as a Blue card, while Shining Gundam and Domon Kasshu will join the roster as White cards.
To assist new players, a “Custom Deck Box” containing 125 reprint cards and eight packs of Freedom Ascension will launch on the same day.
Prior to the anniversary, a collaboration with the mobile game SD Gundam G Generation Eternal will be released on June 27, 2026.
The competitive scene is also expanding with the “WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 26-27,” which will introduce store-level qualifiers and a two-season format.
