Gundam 00’s Exclusive PG Trans-Am Raiser Gunpla Kit Returns to the US for Premium Bandai Week 2026
Image by Charlotte DavisBandai has officially brought one of Gundam 00’s most impressive Perfect Grade Gunpla kits back to the US, with the Trans-Am Raiser receiving a limited-time restock as part of a major promotional event.
The “PG 1/60 TRANS-AM RAISER” joins a large selection of exclusive Gunpla kits, figures, and other collectibles returning for Premium Bandai Week 2026, which also offers a temporary reduction to the usual free-shipping threshold.
Image by Charlotte DavisTrans-Am Raiser is the powered-up form of Setsuna F. Seiei’s 00 Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, created by combining the Mobile Suit with the 0 Raiser support craft and activating its powerful Trans-Am System.

The combination allows the 00 Gundam to fully utilize its revolutionary Twin Drive System, while Trans-Am temporarily releases stored GN particles to dramatically increase its performance and give the machine its distinctive red appearance.

Bandai originally released the exclusive Perfect Grade kit in June 2017 to celebrate the anime’s 10th anniversary, recreating the fully activated Trans-Am Raiser at 1/60 scale.
The model uses the elaborate construction of the original “PG 1/60 00 Raiser,” replacing its familiar white, blue, and red armor with specially molded pink and crimson components that reproduce the Mobile Suit’s appearance during Trans-Am activation.

Glossy Metallic Injection molding gives the armor a reflective finish, complemented by translucent light green GN Condensers and a specially coated matte gold V-fin antenna.
The weapons have also received a matching treatment, including pink-plated blades and other components designed to complement the Gundam’s activated appearance.

One of the kit’s biggest features is its pair of illuminated GN Drives, which are mounted on the shoulders and feature rotating internal mechanisms that recreate the release of GN particles.
The preassembled units produce a brighter light green glow than those included with the standard Perfect Grade 00 Raiser, with lighting also available for the head.

The model retains the detailed internal frame and specialized clutch mechanisms of the original kit, allowing builders to secure its articulated joints when posing the completed Gundam with heavier weapons and equipment.
Both the 00 Gundam and 0 Raiser can be assembled and displayed separately before combining to create the complete Trans-Am Raiser, with the support craft’s large binders dramatically expanding the machine’s silhouette.

Its extensive weapon selection includes the GN Sword III, two GN Sword II weapons, GN Beam Sabers and GN Shields, with the larger swords capable of switching between close-combat and ranged configurations.
A display stand made from glitter-infused light green plastic is also included, supporting both the combined and separated configurations and featuring a Mobile Suit Gundam 00 10th anniversary logo sticker.

Special water-slide decals featuring markings designed for the Trans-Am configuration are also provided, while the illuminated components require separately purchased batteries.
The standard “PG 1/60 00 Raiser” received a US restock through Premium Bandai in July 2026, featuring its familiar anime coloring, detailed internal frame, and motorized GN Drive system.

Other recent Gunpla releases have also explored Gundam 00’s Trans-Am configurations, including the “MG 1/100 Gundam Kyrios (Trans-Am Mode) [Metallic Gloss Injection],” which launched in September with a shimmering red finish and the ability to transform into its flight-focused Mobile Armor configuration.

Premium Bandai Week 2026 runs from October 8 at 10:00 AM EDT until October 13 at 11:59 PM EDT, with registered Premium Bandai US members able to qualify for free shipping on eligible orders of $50 or more instead of the usual $100 minimum when using the no-signature-required shipping option.

The “PG 1/60 TRANS-AM RAISER” has been specifically restocked for the event and is available for immediate purchase through Premium Bandai US for $361, although quantities are expected to be limited and the kit may sell out before the promotion ends.
