Publisher Cygames and developer Arc System Works have announced the upcoming version 2.60 update for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising on March 22, 2026.
The comprehensive update is set to introduce a variety of new content, including a downloadable content character and a fresh system mechanic to the fighting game.
While the specific identity of the new fighter has not been officially confirmed, a teaser image heavily implies that the character is Id from the action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
Players can also look forward to a new stage and an additional costume as part of the content drop.
