Gothic Classic Arriving On iOS In 2026

Publisher THQ Nordic has officially announced that the classic action RPG Gothic Classic will be arriving on iOS devices at some point in 2026.
This mobile expansion follows the title’s previous release on the Nintendo Switch, which took place on September 28, 2023.
In addition to the upcoming iOS version, the publisher confirmed that PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One players can also expect the game to land on their platforms in 2026.
The 2026 console rollout will be quite extensive as it is set to include Gothic II Complete Classic and Gothic 3 Classic alongside the first entry.
The original Gothic first debuted on March 15, 2001, which means the franchise celebrated its 25th anniversary on March 15, 2026.
Fans of the series have more to look forward to this year as a complete remake titled Gothic Remake is scheduled for launch on June 5, 2026.
This modern remake is being developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, with availability confirmed for both the Steam and GOG digital storefronts.
To generate excitement for the new mobile port, THQ Nordic has released a dedicated teaser trailer showcasing the iOS version in action.
The original developer, Piranha Bytes, created the foundational experience that established the series as a staple of the action RPG genre over two decades ago.
The expansion to mobile and modern consoles in 2026 ensures that the legacy of the colony and its immersive world will reach a new generation of gamers.
