Good Smile Announces Four Attack on Titan Nendoroid Re-Releases for 2027
Image by James RichardsonGood Smile Company is bringing back four Attack on Titan Nendoroids, with Jean Kirstein, Sasha Braus, Reiner Braun and Annie Leonhart all confirmed for new re-releases in 2027.
The returning figures cover characters from both sides of Attack on Titan’s conflict and preserve the interchangeable expressions and character-specific accessories included with their original releases.
Each stands approximately 10cm tall and uses the poseable construction associated with the Nendoroid series, allowing the included faces, weapons and equipment to be mixed between different displays.
Jean Kirstein originally received his Nendoroid in June 2023, recreating him in his Survey Corps uniform with three face plates covering a standard expression, a goading face and a blushing face.
His accessories include Vertical Maneuvering Equipment, dual blades, movement effect parts and the Survey Corps cloak, giving him everything needed for both combat poses and more character-focused displays.
Sasha Braus followed in July 2023 and also appears in her Survey Corps uniform, with smiling, eating and excited expressions reflecting both sides of the character’s personality.
Her figure comes with Vertical Maneuvering Equipment, dual blades and the Survey Corps cloak alongside additional optional parts for different poses.
Reiner Braun is the oldest of the four figures returning, having originally launched in November 2022.
Good Smile recreates him as the Vice Captain of the Marley Warrior Unit and inheritor of the Armored Titan, with standard, hopeless and pensive expressions included.
The pensive face is based on Reiner’s appearance during the earlier seasons of the anime, while his accessories include a rifle and the memorable Japanese “Gotta marry her” text plate referencing his reaction to Historia.
Annie Leonhart originally released in July 2023 and is shown wearing her Military Police Regiment uniform.
Her three expressions include a composed face, crazed face and ecstatic face, with Vertical Maneuvering Equipment and dual blades also included for recreating scenes from the anime.
The four re-releases arrive during a busy month for Attack on Titan merchandise, with Bandai revealing a large “Dedicate Your Hearts” Ichiban Kuji collection earlier in September as the manga marked its 17th anniversary.
That collection includes figures of Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Erwin, Hange and Levi alongside posters, mini figures, plush charms and other prizes.
Attack on Titan also reunited with Sanrio this month for the fifth installment of their ongoing collaboration, pairing characters including Eren, Mikasa, Jean, Levi, Hange and Erwin with Sanrio favorites for a new collection of plush mascots and merchandise.
Pre-orders for the Jean, Sasha, Reiner and Annie Nendoroid re-releases are now through reputable hobby goods retailers including HobbyLink Japan, with each priced at ¥7,300 (approximately $47 USD / £35 GBP) and all four figures expected to ship in April 2027.
