Gintama Creator’s Latest Work is One of Three New Manga Debuting in Weekly Shonen Jump This April

Weekly Shonen Jump is set to revitalize its lineup with the debut of three new manga series starting April 6, 2026, following the conclusion of several titles like Gonron Egg.
The first newcomer, Roku no Okashina Ie or Roku’s Strange House, premieres in Issue 19 on April 6, 2026, and is a horror comedy created by Atsushi Nakamura of Agravity Boys fame.

In Issue 20, which will be released on April 13, 2026, Masayoshi Satosho will launch a basketball-themed sports manga titled Natsu to Mushikago or Summer and the Insect Cage.
This new basketball series is slated to take the slot previously held by Harukaze Mound, a baseball manga by Togo Goto and Kento Matsuura that finished its 30 chapter run on January 26, 2026.

The third addition to the magazine is 2-nen B-gumi Yusha Destroyers or Class 2B Hero Destroyers, marking the return of Gintama creator Hideaki Sorachi in Issue 21 on April 20, 2026.
Sorachi’s second serialization for Jump is a fantasy comedy that centers on a demon king who has been kicked out of their castle by a group of heroes.

Digital readers outside of Japan can follow these new stories through the Shonen Jump app as they are serialized.
