Five popular Zeta and ZZ Gundam model kits to be re-released
A new wave of pre-orders for five previously released and sought-after Gunpla kits has officially opened.
This re-release focuses heavily on mobile suits from the “Zeta Gundam” and “Gundam ZZ” era of the Universal Century timeline.
The restock is headlined by a trio of kits based on the iconic mobile suit, the Qubeley.
The original AMX-004 Qubeley, piloted by the formidable Haman Karn, is known for its elegant, insect-like design and its revolutionary use of remote-controlled “funnel” weapons.
Two High Grade Universal Century (HGUC) 1/144 scale kits of the Qubeley’s successor, the Mk-II, are also part of the re-release.
One is the dark purple version piloted by the character Ple Two, while the other is the red version piloted by Elpeo Ple, both from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.
To complement these kits, Bandai is also re-releasing the “HGUC Funnel Effect Set for Qubeley.”
This is a separate expansion pack that includes a series of clear plastic arms and beam effects, allowing builders to display the funnels as if they have been deployed for an attack.
Rounding out the re-release is a Master Grade (MG) 1/100 scale kit of the “Hyaku Shiki Kai Mass Production Type.”
This mobile suit is a variant of the golden Hyaku Shiki Kai from the Z-MSV (Zeta Gundam Mobile Suit Variation) design series.
The full lineup of re-released items is as follows:

- HGUC 1/144 Qubeley Mk-II (Ple Two Custom) – Price: 2,200 yen (approx. $14.93 USD / £11.05 GBP)
- HGUC 1/144 Qubeley Mk-II (Elpeo Ple Custom) – Price: 2,200 yen (approx. $14.93 USD / £11.05 GBP)
- HGUC 1/144 Funnel Effect Set for Qubeley – Price: 1,320 yen (approx. $8.96 USD / £6.63 GBP)
- MG 1/100 Hyaku Shiki Kai Mass Production Type – Price: 6,490 yen (approx. $44.06 USD / £32.61 GBP)
Pre-orders for all items listed are now open via the Premium Bandai online store.
All kits, apart from the “Qubeley Mk-II (Elpeo Ple Custom)”, are expected to ship to customers in September 2025.
Pre-orders for the “Qubeley Mk-II (Elpeo Ple Custom)” will ship in December 2025.
