Fan-made Switch 2 accessory allows you to eat fries whilst gaming

A new, fan-designed 3D-printable model has been created that aims to solve the age-old gamer dilemma of how to eat snacks and play video games at the same time.
The innovative design, called “GamiFries,” was recently published on a popular 3D model sharing site.

The accessory is a controller grip designed specifically for the Joy-Con controllers of the new “Nintendo Switch 2.”
Users can 3D print the model and, after attaching magnets in the designated slots, can slide the two Joy-Con controllers into either side to use them as a single, traditional-style gamepad.

The most unique feature of the GamiFries, however, is that the central body of the grip is perfectly shaped to hold a medium-sized container of McDonald’s french fries.
This allows a player to have their snack directly integrated into their controller, eliminating the need to put the controller down to reach for fries.

The design is intended for the entire McDonald’s paper fry container to be slotted into the holder, meaning the plastic grip itself does not get dirty and does not require frequent washing.
A small window is cut into the front of the grip, which cleverly frames the iconic golden arches logo on the front of the fry package.
An additional, separate adapter piece has also been designed.

This allows the grip to be attached to the main console screen, enabling its use even while playing in handheld mode.

Though its undoubtedly probably best to avoid gaming whilst eating finger foods, the GamiFries offers a surprisingly practical solution for gamers who may not want to stop gaming to enjoy their fries.
