Copic has announced a historic first-time collaboration with the legendary Evangelion franchise.

This creative partnership arrives as part of the “EVANGELION:30+; 30th ANNIVERSARY OF EVANGELION” celebrations, marking three decades since the series first changed the landscape of animation.

The collaboration focuses on Copic’s flagship product, the Copic Sketch.

Since its debut in 1993, just two years before Neon Genesis Evangelion premiered, the alcohol-based marker has become the industry standard for illustrators and manga-ka worldwide.

The most unique aspect of this set lies in the customization of the cap markings.

For this release, the standard color numbers and names found on the 358-color Copic Sketch palette have been replaced with “Evangelion Color Numbers” and names derived specifically from the series.
