Elegant new tea party themed Cardcaptor Sakura collaboration cafe to open this fall

A new collaboration cafe themed around the popular anime series, Cardcaptor Sakura, is set to open in three major Japanese cities.

The new event is based on a “Tea Party” concept, inviting guests to an elegant gathering with the series’ characters.

The cafe is built around new, original illustrations that depict the characters Sakura, Tomoyo, and Kero-chan enjoying a party.

A full menu of original, themed food, desserts, and drinks will be available for guests to enjoy.

The highlight of the menu is a “Sakura and Tomoyo’s Together Forever! Royal Afternoon Tea Set”, which is priced at ¥4,500.

For every menu item that customers order they will receive one of 12 event exclusive coasters as a gift (designs will be selected at random).

A shop corner will be set up at the cafes, selling a wide range of exclusive merchandise featuring the new artwork.

The collaboration cafes will be held in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, with the locations and dates as follows:

Entry to the cafes is primarily by a reservation-only system, which requires a 550 yen per-person charge.

Customers who made a reservation in advance will receive a special tea party ticket style card as an exclusive bonus item.

Reservations for all three locations are scheduled to open on Wednesday, the 20th of August, at 6:00 PM Japan Standard Time via the official cafe website.
