Eevee Tokyo Banana Returns for Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary

Tokyo Banana World has announced the return of the “Eevee Tokyo Banana” to celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise.
This special release marks the first appearance of the popular “Evolution Pokémon” in the confectionery series in four years.

The “Pokémon Tokyo Banana” line is a collaborative series where the pocket monsters are transformed into the souvenir brand’s signature sponge cakes.

The concept focuses on “fluffy and cute Pokémon” that accompany fans during their snack time, with the most common variety being based on the franchise mascot, Pikachu.

This specific release features a chocolate-flavored sponge cake adorned with designs of Eevee.
The filling consists of a “Caramel Macchiato” flavored banana custard cream, intended to evoke the “mofu-mofu” (fluffy) nature of the character.

There are six different character patterns printed on the cakes, allowing fans to enjoy various expressions.
Among these designs is a rare “Heart-patterned Eevee,” which is said to bring good fortune to those lucky enough to find it.

The “Eevee Tokyo Banana (Caramel Mofart Flavor)” is available in an 8-piece box priced at 1,512 yen (approx. $10.50 USD / £8.00 GBP).
Sales are scheduled to run from Wednesday, January 14, 2026, through Sunday, April 19, 2026.

The cakes will be available at Tokyo Banana locations including “Tokyo Banana S” (JR Tokyo Station), “Tokyo Banana Studio” (Daimaru Tokyo), Tokyo Gift Palette, Haneda Airport (Terminals 1 & 2), EXPASA Ebina (Outbound), Miyoshi Parking Area (Outbound), and the Daily Yamazaki at Busta Shinjuku.
