Dragon Ball’s Young Goku Takes Flight for Exclusive New Travel Gear Collection
Image by James RichardsonJapanese bag and accessories brand SAC’S BAR has revealed a new Dragon Ball travel collection featuring seven exclusive items decorated with young Goku and other characters from the original series.
The collection consists of five casual bags and two suitcases, with newly drawn artwork bringing together characters and scenes inspired by Goku’s earliest adventures rather than focusing on the later Dragon Ball Z era.
Among the illustrations are young Goku, Krillin and Master Roshi gathered outside Kame House, alongside another scene showing Bulma and Oolong travelling by car while Goku flies beside them on the Flying Nimbus.
Dragon Ball originally began as Akira Toriyama’s manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1984 before receiving its first TV anime adaptation in 1986, with these early adventures following Goku’s journey from an isolated child searching for the Dragon Balls into a young martial artist.
SAC’S BAR has translated the new character artwork differently across the collection, using detailed embroidery for the five bags while giving the suitcases a cleaner finish based around raised character and series motifs.
The bag range is split between three lightweight padded nylon designs and two heavier canvas options, with the nylon releases available in black and grey while the canvas bags come in black and white.
The suitcases instead use orange and black shells decorated with embossed artwork of young Goku riding the Flying Nimbus alongside the Dragon Ball logo, with additional series-inspired artwork continuing inside each case.
Both sizes also include a built-in drink holder and an expandable body that increases their available storage capacity when needed.

A padded nylon design that can switch between a backpack and tote, with black and grey versions available.

The rounded one-shoulder design uses the same lightweight nylon construction and embroidered Dragon Ball artwork, with black and grey color options.
- “Dragon Ball Shoulder Bag” – ¥9,790 (approximately $63 USD / £46 GBP)
A smaller everyday shoulder bag completes the three-piece nylon range, again offered in black and grey.
- “Dragon Ball 2WAY Canvas Tote” – ¥9,790 (approximately $63 USD / £46 GBP)
The larger of the two canvas bags uses a sturdier fabric construction and includes a shoulder strap, allowing it to be carried in two different ways.
- “Dragon Ball 2WAY Mini Canvas Tote” – ¥7,590 (approximately $49 USD / £36 GBP)
The compact canvas option also includes a shoulder strap and is available with two different embroidered artwork designs in black or white.
- “Dragon Ball Suitcase, 36L/41L” – ¥19,800 (approximately $127 USD / £94 GBP)
The smaller suitcase expands from approximately 36 to 41 liters and combines its embossed Dragon Ball exterior with the collection’s custom interior artwork.
- “Dragon Ball Suitcase, 51L/57L” – ¥22,000 (approximately $141 USD / £104 GBP)
The larger version increases capacity from approximately 51 to 57 liters while retaining the same orange and black color choices, drink holder and expandable construction.
The entire collection is exclusive to SAC’S BAR and will be sold through participating SAC’S BAR Group stores across Japan as well as the company’s official online store from September 15, 2026.
