Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Passes 10 Million Sales Milestone as New DAIMA DLC Launches

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced a major achievement for the action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, developed by CyberConnect2.

Total worldwide sales for the title have officially surpassed 10 million units across all platforms.

This milestone demonstrates the game’s global appeal and the continued commercial power of the Dragon Ball Z franchise in the gaming market.

In addition to celebrating the successful sales figures, the publisher also confirmed the upcoming release of new downloadable content.

The latest installment, titled “DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm – Part 2,” is scheduled to launch on January 15.

This new chapter is based on the recent Dragon Ball DAIMA anime series.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot provides an immersive experience that allows players to relive the iconic sagas of the animated series.

The game initially launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on January 16, 2020.

Its platform availability expanded later that year, arriving on Nintendo Switch on September 24, 2021, and on Stadia on October 26, 2021.

To serve players on the newest console generation, the game was subsequently released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on January 13, 2023.

This successful multi-platform rollout has allowed the title to reach its impressive 10 million unit sales goal.
