Demon Slayer’s new pizza collab comes with exclusive merchandise

Fans of Demon Slayer are in for a treat as Pizza-La, one of Japan’s leading pizza chains, has announced a special collaboration.

The pizza chain will offer exclusive “Demon Slayer Pizza Packs” that combine character-inspired pizzas with collectible merchandise.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, created by Koyoharu Gotouge, has become massively popular since its manga debut in 2016 and subsequent anime adaptation by studio ufotable.

Known for its stunning animation, compelling characters, and intense action sequences, the series follows Tanjiro Kamado’s journey to turn his sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon.

Demon Slayer’s popularity has led to numerous collaborations across various industries, from fashion to food, capitalizing on its widespread appeal.

The central offering of this collaboration is the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Pizza Pack”, priced at 3,680 yen (approx. $25.44 USD / £18.84 GBP).

Each pack includes a medium sized pizza divided into four sections, each inspired by a different Demon Slayer character and offering a unique flavor profile:

  • Tanjiro’s Charcoal-Grilled Beef
  • Mitsuri’s Honey Lemon Pizza
  • Muichiro’s Mascarpone Seafood
  • Sanemi’s Fresh Tomato and Basil

This innovative design allows customers to enjoy four different types of pizza in one meal.

Each pack comes with one randomly selected acrylic figure from a set of five, featuring original illustrations specially drawn by ufotable for this collaboration.

These illustrations depict the Demon Slayer characters in a pizza shop setting:

  • Kamado Tanjiro: Portrayed as the store runner.
  • Tokito Muichiro: Dynamically preparing the pizza bases.
  • Kanroji Mitsuri: Elegantly dressed as a delivery girl.
  • Iguro Obanai: Taking charge of the pizza oven.
  • Shinazugawa Sanemi: Overseeing ingredient delivery.

These unique illustrations offer a fresh, light hearted take on the characters.

The pizza comes packaged in a special box that doubles as a fun activity.

The Demon Slayer themed box includes a board game

The back of the box features a “sugoroku” game board, a traditional Japanese board game similar to Snakes and Ladders, allowing customers to continue enjoying the Demon Slayer theme even after finishing their meal.

For ultimate collectors, a “Demon Slayer Pizza Pack Complete Set” is also available for 8,800 yen (approx. $60.84 USD /£45.06 GBP).

This set guarantees all five acrylic figures, ensuring fans can collect the entire set without relying on random draws.

The Demon Slayer pizza and acrylic stands will be available between June 19th and September 18th, 2025.

Online orders through the official Pizza-La website will start at 8:00 AM JST on June 19th, but customers eager to secure their collaboration pizza can now place reservations by phone or in-store at any time before then.

Fans are advised to check their local Pizza-La store’s specific business hours before making reservations.
