Demon Slayer's New Official US Cafe Features Entertainment District Arc Themed Food and Exclusive Merch

Demon Slayer fans in the US now have an official cafe of their own, with a new limited-time experience bringing themed food, character drinks, exclusive merchandise and the Entertainment District Arc to Chicago.

Demon Slayer Cafe USA officially opened on August 8, 2026 in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood, with the project being promoted as the first officially licensed standalone Demon Slayer cafe in the country.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows Tanjiro Kamado after his family is attacked by demons and his sister Nezuko is transformed into one, sending the pair on a journey that eventually brings Tanjiro into the Demon Slayer Corps.

The Chicago cafe takes much of its visual inspiration from the Entertainment District Arc, the part of the story that sees Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira accompany Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui on a mission that leads to their battle against Upper Rank Six demons Daki and Gyutaro.

That setting carries over into the restaurant through character artwork, themed displays and dedicated photo areas, turning the space into more than simply a place serving Demon Slayer-branded food.

Food is a major part of the experience, with the character-inspired menu developed by David Choi, the founder of Korean-Mexican restaurant brand Seoul Taco.

Tanjiro’s Traveling Musubi leads the menu with an onigiri-inspired dish themed around the series’ protagonist, while Nezuko’s Ribbon Churros turn her familiar pink ribbon motif into one of the cafe’s dessert options.

Zenitsu gets the Orange Chicken Lightning Fries, combining orange chicken and fries in a dish inspired by his Thunder Breathing attacks, while Inosuke’s Beast Breathing Katsu Sandwich takes its name from his aggressive fighting style.

Tengen’s Flashy Avocado Rolls continue the Entertainment District theme with a dish named after the Sound Hashira’s obsession with doing everything flamboyantly, while the Hashira Strength Bento Box features short ribs as one of the menu’s larger meal choices.

Other choices include Koinatsu’s Garden Egg Sando, based on the oiran who appears during the Entertainment District Arc, alongside a wider selection of themed dishes and desserts available throughout the pop-up.

The drinks receive the same character treatment, including Giyu’s Calm Current Tea, with additional specialty beverages drawing on characters and imagery from the anime.

Fans can also shop a range of officially licensed cafe-exclusive merchandise during their visit, with the collection spanning apparel, drinkware, collectibles and other limited items that are being sold while supplies last.

The cafe is located at 1422 N Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park and is scheduled to remain open through October 2026, giving visitors several months to experience the collaboration rather than restricting it to a single opening weekend.
