Critically acclaimed sci-fi adventure 1000xRESIST is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series
The award-winning, “hyper-cinematic narrative adventure” game, 1000xRESIST, is officially coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
The publisher Fellow Traveller and the developer sunset visitor announced that the new versions of the game will be released on Tuesday, the 4th of November, and will also be available on Game Pass.
1000xRESIST first launched for the Nintendo Switch and PC in May of 2024, where it received widespread critical acclaim.
The game, which was the recipient of a Peabody award and nominations for both a Hugo and a Nebula award, was featured on several “game of the year” lists for its rich narrative, its striking soundtrack, and its over ten hours of fully voiced dialogue.
The story is set 1,000 years in the future, after humanity has been all but wiped out by a mysterious disease brought by an alien race known as the “Occupants.”
Players take on the role of a “Watcher” named Iris, a member of a new, underground society that serves a mysterious ruler known as the “ALLMOTHER.”
When a fellow “Sister” uncovers the ALLMOTHER’s lies and is executed for her treason, Iris must resist everything she has been taught and fight to uncover the truth about her world.
This new release will bring the celebrated and deeply narrative-driven title to a whole new audience of players.
A new trailer has been released to coincide with the announcement of the new console versions.
