Converse Announces Oshi no Ko Sneaker Collab Collection

A new collection of collaboration sneakers featuring characters from the hit TV anime Oshi no Ko has been announced.

Oshi no Ko is a popular anime series that follows the dramatic and often dark world of the Japanese entertainment industry.

The story centres on the idol group “B Komachi,” revived by the children of the legendary idol Ai Hoshino, as they navigate stardom, mystery, and the complexities of show business under the management of Strawberry Productions.

This special lineup is a triple collaboration between the anime series, the footwear brand Converse, and the Japanese shoe retailer ABC-MART.

The collection features four distinct models designed to reflect the personalities of the idol group “B Komachi” and the staff of their agency.

The three models representing the idols are based on the “ALL STAR LIGHT PLTS” platform, which features a thick sole and lightweight design, while the staff model utilizes the classic “ALL STAR OX” silhouette.

Designed for the energetic center Ruby, this model features a pink satin shoelace and a large ribbon on the heel to capture her “orthodox idol” charm.

This model uses a white base to represent Kana’s cyalume colour, accented by frills wrapping around the shoe to reflect her costume design.

Highlighting her influencer style, this model features a black and yellow colour scheme and a tongue label inspired by her signature horn hair accessories.

ALL STAR OX / OSHI NO KO (Strawberry Productions Model)

Designed for the staff supporting the idols, this model uses a practical black colour to hide dirt and features a “backstage pass” design on the inner tongue where a name can be written.

Customers who purchase these items at select locations will receive an acrylic stand of the corresponding character, while those who purchase the Strawberry Productions staff model will receive an acrylic stand of Aqua Hoshino.
