Capcom announces two new Resident Evil 30th anniversary game bundles

Capcom has announced two new special packages to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its landmark Resident Evil series, which first launched in March 1996.
This comes shortly after another major reveal, whereby Capcom announced that a collaboration between the series and popular kawaii metal band Babymetal is in the works for 2026.

Resident Evil (known as Biohazard in Japan) is the long-running franchise that defined the survival horror genre.

These new bundles are designed to celebrate the series’ history by packaging the upcoming new installment with several modern classics.
The announcement centers on two collections: the “Biohazard 30th Special Pack” and the “Biohazard 30th Special Pack Vol.2.”

The main pack is timed to launch alongside the highly anticipated new entry in the series, Resident Evil Requiem.

This new game follows FBI profiler Grace Ashcroft and features the ability to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives.

Here is the full product lineup:
- Biohazard 30th Special Pack
- Price (Physical): 15,389 yen (approx. $99.96 USD / £76.01 GBP)
- Price (Download): 13,990 yen (approx. $90.87 USD / £69.09 GBP)

This main bundle features the “Ethan Winters Saga” alongside the new title.
It includes the Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition (which contains the main game and DLCs), Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition Grotesque Ver., and Resident Evil Village Z Version Gold Edition.
This pack will be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
The download version is available only for Nintendo Switch 2 and will be on sale until March 31, 2026.

- Biohazard 30th Special Pack Vol. 2
- Price (Physical): 7,689 yen (approx. $49.94 USD / £37.98 GBP)

This second bundle focuses on several critically acclaimed remakes and will be available only as a PlayStation 5 package.
It includes Resident Evil RE:2 Z Version, Resident Evil RE:3 Z Version, and the Resident Evil RE:4 Gold Edition version.

Both anniversary packs are scheduled to be released on February 27, 2026, the same day as the standalone launch of Resident Evil Requiem.
The Biohazard 30th Special Pack will also be released in North America/the US and Europe as the Resident Evil Generation Pack, where it will be priced at $89.99/€100.

The Resident Evil Generation Pack will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, and while North America will receive a physical release featuring game-key cards, it will only be sold as a digital release in Europe.
The digital release will also only be available between February 27 and March 31, 2026.
