Bushiroad Creative opens new official store in Akihabara

The merchandise company Bushiroad Creative has opened a new, official retail location, the “Bushiroad Creative Store Akihabara Main Store.”

The new shop held its grand opening on Friday, the 1st of August, 2025, within the Animate Akihabara ANNEX building.

The Animate Akihabara ANNEX building is operated by Animate, a Japanese chain of anime and manga merchandise stores, which also operates a growing number of international stores, including a new Malaysian store.

Bushiroad Creative is the merchandise and capsule toy-focused subsidiary of the larger Bushiroad group, a major company in the anime and game industry.

This new store is designed to serve a dual purpose.

It will act as a dedicated space for hosting a rotating series of limited-time pop-up shops, and it will also feature a permanent installation of capsule toy machines from the company’s “BushiCapu!” brand.

The inaugural event for the new pop-up shop space is the “PalVerse POP UP SHOP.”

“PalVerse” is Bushiroad Creative’s brand of deformed figures, developed under the concept of a “new, palm-sized world,” which features characters from a variety of anime, games, and VTuber agencies.

The pop-up shop will sell a variety of existing figures from the line and will also feature displays of upcoming, unreleased products.

A key feature of the event is an advance sale of a new figure set.

The “PalVerse BanG Dream! Ave Mujica” set will have an early, exclusive release at the store.

This set is a blind-packaged collection featuring the five members of the in-universe band, Ave Mujica, with a chance to find secret pearl-colored variants or a super-rare version.

A separate “BushiCapu!” capsule toy, the “BanG Dream! Ave Mujica Collection Figure RICH,” will also have an advance release at the store’s capsule toy machines.
